Is the Mach Speed Control 3.4.2 temperature measurement valid on a Sonnet G3/500? If so, how is it done?

The XLR8 MAChSpeed Control software probes the CPU for its built in reporting functionality. The G3 500 does support thermal monitoring which is presented by software.

It should be noted that FreeScale has noted that the information is often inaccurate and has since dropped all support for it.

Thanks ... everything else seems to be working fine.

Still like all the other infomation suppled by the Mach Speed Control.

Works fine on my Sonnet G3/500 and the Sonnet G4/450, when I had it in my 9500 - although the G4 had problems with 6-slots ... their G3 does not.

Best.
