I have Interview 3.0 but it doesn't run well on a new Intel MAC. The "Genius" at the MAC store pointed out that it is not "Binary" just Power PC.
When will it be updated for the new Intel systems

You can run the 3.0 version on intel by telling quicktime to use rosetta.
We will be updating InterView to Universal (releasing) next week.Last edited on Thu Aug 3rd, 2006 10:52 pm by Gary

I have been experimenting with my new ProView USB video capture on my PowerMac G4 (FW800, dual 1.25 GHz). I also tried it on my Mac Mini (Intel duo). I didn't go farther than "it works" on the Mini - just wanted to see if it would run. It does!
I only tried the HD-consuming YUV422 mode, which gave full frame rate on TV content.

Yes! ProView is completely universal.

Has the upgrade been released?
I have Interview 3.0 that I did pay for since it wasn't an upgrade.
Will we have to purchase yet another version to move to the Intel based MAC's.

I am not sure I understand the question. ProView USB was released in June. It is a completely different hardware design than the InterView. What exactly are you needing?

Can the Proview software (Intel compatable) be used with the Interview hardware? The USB interfaces look very similar.
If so - will you be offering the software alone

The updated (3.1) InterView software has been released. This new package is fully Intel native / universal.
Users of all InterView 3 devices can upgrade. If you have a Daystar-Store eProduct link for the InterView software, simply login and download. If the link has expired, then email daystar at: sales@daystartechnology.com to extend your download time.
If you do not have an eProduct download link, then email sales@daystartechnology.com. You will receive secure download information once your order/product is verified (we just need your order number, or last name, or device serial numer).
The download is 47 MB (it includes the new ArcSoft Video Impession 2.0 as well). If you prefer to just get the CD. Then let us know via email. The fulfillment cost for the CD (mailed) is $19.
