Are there any Photoshop benchmarks comparing a 1.0 GHZ 7555 vs a 1.26 GHZ 7447? I have a PowerBook G4 867 and contemplating a jump to a 1.0 GHZ logic board for around $250, or a 1.26 GHZ processor upgrade for around $400. (I've noticed the 1.33 GHZ upgrades aren't available anymore)

I've read that Photoshop thrives on L3 cache, but haven't come across any benchmarks that could help me make a decision. Would I take a performance hit in Photoshop if I lost 1MB of L3 cache, but gained more L2 cache?

Are there any PowerBook processor upgrades in the works that have 1MB of L2 cache?

Thanks for any help or advice,...
