My apologies if this isn't the correct forum.

I noticed tonight as I was trying to isolate a potential problem that TechTools Pro (4.0.4) says my CPU's L2 cache is disabled. I ran TTP both from the CD after booting from it and from the app installed on the hard drive after booting from my normal system partiton. I got the same report each time.

Both ASP (OS X 10.4.3) and the MACh Speed Control (v 3.4.1) show the L2 cache, and Speed Control shows that the L2 cache is enabled. The computer is a Rev 2 B&W.

Have you encountered this anomaly before?

(Incidentally, I'm pretty sure that I've isolated the problem to the hard drive subsystem, so it's not being caused by the CPU.)
