Hi, as we all know currently MacBooks and MacBook Pros suffer from some serious heat issues. It would really be great to be able to switch to a cooler Core 2 Duo CPU when they become available. Word has it that they will be pin compatible with the Core Duos. Does Daystar Technology have any plans to offer an upgrade path such as this?

On the same note, the chipset in the original Core Duo MacBook Pro technically supports up to 4GB of RAM (although a bug in it really makes it more like 3.4), yet everyone claims 2GB modules do not work. First, is it true that the 2GB modules aren't recognized, despite having chipset support, and second, with the CPU upgrade does the situation change?

Unknown at this time. But the originals do support 2GB + 1GB
