| After reading through the parts that are upgraded for a 1.25 GHZ 15" AL Powerbook I am somewhat confused. Is the processor the only thing that is upgraded, or the motherboard and processor too. If the motherboard is replaced then what graphics card is used, one similar to what was originally in the machine (9600 mobile) or a newer one (9700 mobile with 128 mb ram). Does the ram stay the same (DDR) or like the newer powerbooks are they all DDR 2. Do we get our original processor/motherboard back? There are a lot of questions that don't have a clear answer here.

| We upgrade the CPU and a number of Power and thermal components on your logic board. Everything else remains the same (RAM, Video, etc)

| Really, isn't the processor soldered onto the motherboard and not socketed. Is the processor physically replaced or simply overclocked.

| Yes, you are correct. The Processor is soldered to the logic board. We have perfected the process of removal and replacement. This is definately a new CPU, and a much higher rated CPU than the original.
